A Happiest Birthday to SJP!
It was September 2012, Fashion’s Night Out at Manolo Blahnik. This was my first season working New York Fashion Week. I’ve always admired Sarah Jessica Parker’s work in film, television & fashion. She complimented my outfit.
My Second time I met SJP was at the Nordstom SJP Shoe Pop-Up with in SoHo. She once again blew my mind on how kind she was. Literally helping customers try on her new collection of shoes.
It may have been one of the coldest days in NYC, but she made it warm and inviting at least. Cheers to SJP and her contiuned success.

First Look at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, New York F/W 2015 signage at Lincoln Center.
Are you ready? Lincoln Center is gearing up for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, New York. The signs are up and “the Tents” are being built. This season MBFW will be February 12-19th. Get ready for Street Style and Fashion in a City unlike any other, New York. Hope Starbucks knows the dates are later than previous seasons.

Juno snow storm disguised as Blizzard in NYC #DressedNYC
As the storm approached all News stations claimed a potential crippling blizzard to hit NYC. Plan for the worst, Hope for the best…
Everyone seemed to be hurrying to get home on Monday (late afternoon) to beat the storm that was said to bring as much as 30 inches of snow.
I stayed warm with my multiple scarves, hat, gloves and red umbrella. Warming up moments were essential. I visited multiple cafe’s between cold moments in the winter wonderland. A Starbucks location I was visiting between taking photos closed their doors (4pm-ish) and prepared their employees to get home safely.
Luckily for New Yorkers’ the blizzard was downgraded and Juno just delivered the fluff known as snow. Either way the snow was gorgeous and Instagram was flooded with beautiful photos.

NYC PRIDE 2014! OITNB!

Happy Pride 2014!
This year marked the 45th Anniversary of the Riots at Stonewall Inn, a very significant moment in Civil Rights and LGBTQ history.
New York City Pride was even more special this year for me and my partner… WE “got engaged”. My recent new title as fiancé has given me a heightened since of PRIDE.
He & I like to watch the march/parade in the West Village. Last year afterwards we attended the Pier Party with performances by Cher and Deborah Cox. We skipped the pier party this year (Sorry Demi). It’s a blessing living in a state that supports our commitment to one another. Some day the whole nation will have these same rights. No matter where you live,

Many cast members of “Orange Is The New Black” showed their support this year in NYC riding on the “OITNB” Litchfield Correctional Facility float. Laverne Cox was one of the Grand Marshals of the NYC PRIDE PARADE along with Tony Award nominee Jonathan Groff, and National Gay and Lesbian Task Force executive director Rea Carey.
